Merritt Mountain Music Festival

The folks at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival needed an intro page which would deliver customizable announcements to the site's visitors. They wanted to have their logo in the dark, illuminated only by moving spot lights. Since it's an outdoor concert, a background of mountains and evening sky were added for effect... all in just 60 KB.

To make the announcements customizable, the Flash movie loads an XML file containing the message text. The XML file also allows the webmaster to change the duration of any message and the delay between each message.
